AI Disclosure
Last updated · 16 February 2026
You deserve to know how the content you read here is made. Here's the full picture:
What AI does
- Drafts every article body, headline, excerpt, and premium bullet summary based on source material we supply it.
- Reviews every draft against tone, factual-consistency, brand-safety, and duplication rules before publishing.
- Suggests tags, categories, and read-time estimates.
What humans do
- Choose which sources are approved for ingestion.
- Set the editorial rules and score thresholds the AI review agent uses.
- Review anything the AI flags for hold, and any sensitive topic before it goes live.
- Handle corrections and reader complaints.
Models we use
Content generation and review currently run on OpenAI's GPT-5.2 accessed via the Emergent LLM key. We may add or swap models over time. We do not send our subscribers' personal reading history to these providers; only editorial source material is transmitted.
What AI does not do
- Decide which sources are trustworthy.
- Take positions on politicians, elections, or ongoing legal cases.
- Auto-publish sensitive topics without human review.
- See or use your account activity to shape content.
